Wormy Maple |
|
|
Wormy Maple
flooring/paneling is very unique and gorgeous.
Wormy Maple is just as it sounds - when the
Maple tree was young, small worms burrowed into
the tree and created small holes as they went.
As the tree grew and healed itself, the small
holes created long streaks or "tracks" of
heartwood. Structurally, the Wormy Maple floor
is perfect and cosmetically there won't be any
other floor like it. Rest assured, there are no
worms left in the final product, just the tracks
from where they once traveled. |
